I've actually never watched a single episode of Heroes. Although I kind of wish I had since I've heard so many good things about it, but I think I'm too far behind to bother watching it now, lol.

Download the past episodes of Heroes by BitTorrent. It's a pretty good show.

Is it an AWESOME show that you absolutely should watch? Um, no.

That is coming from someone who doesn't think there are any real-life TV shows that a person must watch, now that Buffy and Angel are over.

Definitely, I usually don't get hooked by previews, but the "Peter Petrelli is dead", which I know must be a lie, caught me. Right now he is the only one giving the title of the show some sense, the other characters(Nikki, mind reading guy, hyper-active Japanese guy) I could care less about.

Well a charecter did die not saying who it is. But it got my hyped up that the show was back.

Oh yeah! Hiro is the best character ever! So cute! I do love this show, it makes me think about what life would have been like when the X-men first started getting powers. Unsure of what to do, eventually banding together...I mean, I dunno if that's what it was like for the x-men mutants, but that's what I imagine.

OK, why is it illegal to download non-Cable TV shows which you've missed? As in, you missed the entire last season?

How the heck else are you supposed to watch them? Wait 5 years for the DVD set? If it even comes out?

Granted, Heroes happens to be graciously available for free viewing online. But I'm saying in general.

Plus here you don't have to deal with the yellow-blue costumes, but yeah its like watching X-Men.

Yea, the fight between Silar and Peter wasn't great. i mean why didn't peter just stand BEHIND silar to avoid the glass?

But i have to say i am glad it is back.

And with regard to downloads,if i didn't download i wouldn't get to see any of these programs! We don't get all the shows on Tv here. And as far as i know heroes is free to air.

Oh... i thought it wasn't, as there is a small fee added to video tapes, cd's and dvds (and casette tapes, if they still sell) that is for the loss of revenue from them been used.

If it has been on free to air tv, radio or whatever i assume it's free to copy. Is it the distribution of it that makes it illegal?

If i taped it and let all you guys watch it in my house is that illegal?
What if i used one of my own tapes/dvds but recorded the program in someone else's house, is that illegal?

I think the rule is if you make one copy for your personal use, and with no intent to distribute, it's not illegal.

So if someone who doesn't live with you walks into the room when you're watching your copy do you have to turn it off?


Ok, but lets say you are watching an episode of NYPD blue that you taped off the tv the night before and your friend calls round. Is it ok to watch the episode with him if he already owns the DVD?

Tommie Kelly you should really be a politician, unless you're one already,hmm...I agree with your argument, which is why media corporations focus more on hunting those who record the show and then sell it without paying anything to the owners than to those who just watch it online. I guess they just say its illegal because that way they don't loose their sponsors because of low ratings(everybody watching the show online instead of the tv).

I do understand the TV networks position, they have to make money too...
I just don't think i am doing anything too evil by watching a show on the net rather than on a tv.
