Well,The first reason is probably typo,But I'm wondering if there's any other reason.Maybe is because Korean comic is relatively unknown in america. Some people think "Pink Lady"is Shoju or something like that.At first,I was surprised becaused it sound like Soju,A korean alcholic drink. It's not shoju!!!Winter is 24 years old!!!She look really young but she's 24 years old!!!If she somehow existed in real life,She would have killed you!!!I searched the Wikipedia and I found out it's "Manhwa".It was is really closed to Manga.
But I think it doesn't matter,Because there aren't really a way to define it because there are a lot of style of drawing and wher the author came from doesn't matter.
Wait...Why an I talking about this???I have to get back on track. Why do you think a lot of people don't read my comic???

People not reading usually has nothing to do with the style, genre, or quality of comic as much as advertising. People can't read what they can't find. You need to be more active in forums, join top lists and link exchanges, be more involved in the community visiting and commenting on other comics.
That's all covered in this thread . Along with stuff about keeping readers and what you can do to your comic. -- But it's mostly in the advertising.

I agree with Usedbooks you can have the best comic in the world (like I do...KIDDING!) but if you don't get the word out no one will know about it.
You cant just sit back and hope someone hears about your comic and starts spreading the word, you have to get out there and shamelessly plug it!
Project Wonderful advertising is a good place to start.

I absolutely LOVE Pink Lady. 2 reasons I have not been back for a bit are
1. I have been busy prepping my comics for print for a convention. I have got behind reading/commenting on a LOT of comics.
2. The site Pink Lady is ACTUALLY on is off DD... which is only a small issue really. I like that you post on DD to let us know when it gets updated. The thing is that that site does not work well with FireFox. So- not only do I have to go to another site to look at the comic. I have to open up IE to read it :(
As for the other comics they are simply not my cup of tea. You can expect me to make my way back to Pink Lady soon though. I am finished prepping my comics for print and am catching back up on all my favorites now. I'll get to it soon.
The rest of it is as people have said. Advertising and networking. Word of mouth. I read a lot of comics on DD and have never seen you comment on anyone's comics. Many people will click on your profile to see what comics you have when you comment. And many people will also try to thank you for commenting by giving your comment a chance at least. Now this is VERY time consuming if you reallyread the comics you are commenting on. But in my book it's very worth it from the promotional aspect, the "Do unto others" aspect, you make friends that can assist you on occasions, you read comics that can inspire you and/or teach and entertain, and you make someone else feel better about their work.
That's the Drunk Duck side of it. Being a part of the Drunk Duck community. And meangling. Now to extend a lot further you have to do networking outside AND advertise. But... baby steps hehe... that one is just a whole LOT of work.

Just to tell you in advance, I'm not trying to be mean or anything so I hope you're not too offended.
I find your comics kind of frustrating to read. Like JNP mentioned Pink Lady is hosted offsite and the the fact that you're using a website that's specificly for hosting comics to link to the comic rather than hosting it on Drunk Duck itself. This might seem kind of minor but I have to wonder why as your forcing your readers to take one more step to read the comic.
I understand that these are comics that you translate but do you do anything to the layout when you translate them? The reason I ask is because I've noticed quite a few pages where the space between the panels is huge in places it's almost as big as the panels themselves--again this seems kind of minor but this slows down reading the comic and can interrupt the flow. I think I'd like to see the panels closer together, it would make the pages more coherent.
Not to say that they don't look cool, and I'm sure if these comics were presented in a way more inviting to the reader then readership would improve.

For me, it's been the layouts. They're either single panels featuring relatively nothing too attention holding or they're a series of gigantic vertical gaps between images. And I know you're just the translator, but the writing on some feels very empty. Words coming out, but nothing being said.
"You tell yourself to just
enjoy the process," he added. "That whether you succeed or fail, win or
lose, it will be fine. You pretend to be Zen. You adopt detachment, and
ironic humor, while secretly praying for a miracle."

The author of Pink Lady did not want the comic to be hosted on DD. He/she wanted it to be on their actual site. At 1st mamaya94 did have it on DD but respected the author's wishes.
As for the panels. That's a pacing choice by the author as well. I wouldn't expect mamaya94 to mess with that.

If its not about video games or it's not anime influenced...then most likely it won't be read.
That's not always the truth, but it is a lot of the time.

THAT is not pacing, that is huge gaps of black that destroy the flow of the read. It may be a pacing choice by the author, but it is an exceptionally poor one.

I suppose it does fall on the translator to preserve the original aesthetic of the comic, including the pacing, as much as possible. Mind that I still don't think the having the gaps between panels so large is a good pacing decision but I suppose that's more of a critique of the author than anything else.
I'd definitely second going around reading other peoples' comics and commenting on theirs as it is a good way of getting attention and can drive up your readership. Also, I'm not sure how keen you'd be on doing fan art being a translator but I've found that can be good for promoting your comics as well.

You should not be using the Pink Lady account the way you are, I'm going to have to send you a PQ asking you to stop.
Otherwise, everything everyone else said is good advice. :]

omg I just started reading Pink Lady (I was checking to see why people apparently don't read your comics) IT'S SO GOOD!! The typos can be annoying, but I've gotten over them! ee!! art school drama!
And, Pink Lady does count as shoujo-- which is definitely not a bad thing. Shoujo is just female-centric manga/manhwa with generally lots of romance.

Manga genres (shoujo, shonen, etc.) are defined by audience, not directly by story content (although both story and art style are directly related to audience).
Shoujo isn't about high school girls, it is a manga that appeals to or targets high school girls as its audience. So, shoujo manga often contain a lot of romance and other things that girls like.

I find it a bit odd that you're saying that these comics are "yours". You're technically just guiding us to look at someone else's work, right? Correct me if I'm wrong- I don't know if you drew Hanged Doll or not. Either way, I checked out Pink Lady and the art is amazing. The story sucked me in. Your translation could use a little bit of work, though. Since you're making a bit of a fuss about people not reading it, you might want to try and brush up on your English grammar a bit. Just a thought.
Also, the others are very right about commenting on other people's comics. Get people to recognize you. Be friendly and get help. Use projectwonderful. Be proactive.
