Yeah, I watch it. Hilarious show. I don't get Adult Swim so I just watch it on the interweb. As for a favorite character, I would have to say Grandpa.

Grandpa is the best, the two little kids annoy me.

Oh and the lawyer guy, the one who sings and has the hot white wife he idolizes.

Occasionally. I had always liked the art style when I read it in the papers, and was curious when it came out what it would be like animated. I agree with some of the others on here that Grandpa is my favorite character. :)

I thought it was going to be another "white people are stupid" show, but it turned out to be better than that.

Thanks for your time. :P

Isn't there another Boondocks thread?

Yeah I watch it, I'm a fan. The banned episodes are a must see.

Biggest misconception about this comic - truth be told, this comic confronts a great deal of absurdities in the black community (i.e. sensationalizing R. Kelly, snitching, the Martin Luther King episode is classic).

The Boondocks is a 'thinking' comic. Picks up where Garry Trudeau left off and is still going with Funky Winkerbean, except younger and hipper in its approach towards readers.

Oh yes, I love Huey and I really dig the Dubois family. Great dynamic in the way Huey tries to culturize Jazmine when she's conflicted with her bi-racial identity.

I love The Boondocks! That Jazmine girl was me as a kid. When you're bi-racial like myself there's always a back and forth with your identity, especially while you're young and impressionable. McGruder has a fun way of working all social issues like that into a comic like Boondocks.
