I'm a big Anthrax fan too, but I'm a little wary of this. It reeks of stunt casting, and there's no guarantee that my fondness of Scott Ian as a rhythm guitarist will translate to a fondness for Scott Ian as a comics writer.
He does seem to be genuinely fond of comics though, what with "I Am The Law" and having Alex Ross do an album cover. I don't think he considers this to be an empty merchandising opportunity or a chance to go slumming.
Also, I'm a giant Sam Kieth fan. I have the complete run of Maxx as well as Ojo, Epicurus the Sage, My Inner Bimbo, Zero Girl, and even his superhero stuff. His presence makes me curious about this series.
Still, I won't be entirely sold until I see some pages.

I'm fairly excited about this one. I'm a big Anthrax fan as well. I have no idea how good of a writer Scott Ian is, but he is certainly a comics fan, as it been mentioned with, of course, I am the Law, and not one but two alex ross album covers?
But also lets not forget Scott Ian's true comic creation: SARGENT D and the Stormtroopers of Death! If that isn't cred for writing Lobo, of all characters, I don't know what is.

aw really? man im not caught up on Anthrax, i'll probably be caught up if they decide to release any new material. but that suck, there's gotta e a lot of really pissed off people.
