Well, the next fightsplosion is going to be starting rather soon, and I would just like to make a few announcements.

One: Draxenn is now my Fightsplosion assistant, meaning he will perform random menial tasks as I see fit (actually, he posts the comic at a comic thingy he made, and he helps me count the votes, to ensure there are no errors).
this is the first official announcement of his assistant-ness!

now, for the BIG one!

Fightsplosion will now be giving out... PRIZES!
yes, thats right!

the winner of fightsplosion gets to choose any one item from the Drunkduck store as his reward, or he/she could choose an autographed copy of "Cowboys and Aliens" (or whatever it's called. i can't remember exactly.)

so all the more incentive to do the best you can, and possibly win some great stuffs!

(also, I will be instating a rule that a previous champion cannot compete in the fightsplosion immediately after the one they won, because if they're characters are popular enough, there might not be any chance for anyone else to win and recieve prizes. This will be done to ensure everyone gets a chance at the win!)

I think prizes are a great idea. I guess we wont have a reigning champion of Fightsplotion then. I can see why we need a rule like that. Anyway can't wait to start.

hmm, no, I don't have a set official date for the start of it.
I was planning on starting it after wingnut and Tantz finished the teaser, if that's alright with everyone. (also, the point of a teaser is to attract attention, so go advertise fightsplosion!)

i think well be starting up fairly soon, though, so the wait shouldn't be THAT awful.

Well I mean the teaser is inside the FS forum, I see no point in waiting.

Don't let Tantz and I hold you up, I mean, we're having a BLAST doing the teaser, but I don't want everyone to have to wait for us. :)

Hmmm, the only reason im not doing the teaser is because i have no idea who to put myself against through it. There are so many great fighters its hard to choose.

Actually I don't mind the wait, I'm still settling into college so I'll take any free time I can get.

I'm inking my page, so in a few hours I'll have it up. I'm hoping that people are enjoying it as much as Wingnut and me- how bout we spend the time advertising then, since there's the whole prizes thing happening, too? I'm glad people are feeling that time's being bought for them with the Teaser.

It's a shame we can't make an "I won Fightsplosion" T-shirt. It's lame and cool at the same time.

I keep flip-floping on the whole teaser thing. I think it's cool that Tantz and Wingnut are doing it becuase it's not very likely they'll be facing each other. I would like to do a teaser with Marty but, we may end up fighting in the actual tourament, and it would kind of be like a repeat. I wonder if there will even be time for another teaser if the actual fighting start relativly soon. Of course a huge multi person battle might be interesting.

Well you know when your fighting someone and once the fight is over you get all sorts of Ideas on what you should have done? I currently experienced that fighting the big H. And if we do end up fighting that would be VERY benificial because then we could know what to do, think of it, more actiony pages, more histarical humor, more Dance off's!

So we can like start the tournament now. Right? >_>

Oh jeesus, that's the day of my Biology Mid-Year exam! lol! Just so I know though, you don't get every Round 1 match started in one day do you? Because if everyone's involved in their own match, they won't have time to check out the other matches! That's just me though...

Anyways, these new advances sound tight! I'm totally down for some Drunk Duck merch! (But that signed copy of Cowboys and Aliens sounds hard to resist too...) Yeah, this is shapin' out to be one hell of a Fightsplosion! Now we just need a bigger audience! And by that I mean, people who aren't participating in the matches should be getting a good gander at the events too! Know what I'm sayin'? :p
