Isn't there already a thread for this?

I am so going to see your house when I get the game anyway.
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

Have you guys played Animal Crossing before? I've been reading that anyone who has gotten their fill of a past Animal Crossing game will be very disappointed with this one. It's like the DS game with a little bit more polish and a few more things to do.

Animal Crossing is what it is. You know what to expect if you don't like that don't buy it. I personally can't get enough of it.

Loved it for Gamecube. I never saw a reason to get the following games for the reason of similarity.

Added my Animal Crossing code to my entry in THIS thread. I just got the game so if you find my gate open and head into my place, you won't find much for now...

I was actually hoping for a feature where you can visit your friend's towns while they were out. I guess that's not how it's gonna work this time. :(

OK Lonne I'll add you next time I play. Yeah I think it works better to have a AC thread. Cuz they wouldn't want us cluttering up that thread talking about when to meet and what fruit we got and stuff. I got Apples BTW...

Despite its similarity to the other games (and I never played the first one), I am going to get this one.

I mean, I can wander around controlling things with the Wiimote. :D I find it much better than running around holding my DS for hours to accomplish a few things. And I can import stuff from the DS version.

I do wish it sounded like City Folk had a whole bunch more things to do though.

Just got it yesterday for $30 and own all 3 versions but ah, what a great game to get your girlfriend started to games. I tell yah, it's like a divorced child that we have... I play the DS version for a week -- then she plays it for a week... really saved our relationship.

Anywho, I wasn't expecting much by the Wii version and so far I'm right on the money. My only complaint was that my town name was too big:

Willoughby.

Reference, anyone?

But in the end... I will still prefer the DS version only because it's the right game for it.
