Fun. As a fellow non-native English speaker, I recognize your linguistic efforts.
One thing that I'm wondering: are the sparse backgrounds intentional, or will you put in more with practice? Again speaking from my own experience; Made of Fail is sparse in backgrounds because I'm not good at it. But I'd like to do more. Since you're doing manga style, and most manga I've read are rich in background, I'm curious about your intentions.

About translation, i make the first translation from spanish to english and my friend Louise corrects it and change expressions to adapt them to english! She is an excellent writter!
About your question about backgrounds i could say it a combination of both. I am not very good with backgrounds and i am working hard for improve it! But, in a lot scenes i focus in characters expressions and emotions so, fisical background pass to a second plane for me and i try to make more psicological ambience.
I have to make a balance between both. Hopefully make it better in not far from future! ^^

I for one am not inclined to love the comic right away due to it's extreme manga-esk style, which nowadays is all people do for their comics. But this one seems promising.
And I get why you'd have trouble with translation, I know spanish and live in a southern country called Chile, so it's not that easy for locals to learn english either.
The idea though, does sound promising for the most part, I'll fave it to see how it goes.
I suggest that you start using colors some time down the road, colors really make it seem more original

Well, in this time, Kyrsiel and Gersiel are taking a good rest...they`ve been working hard with me during this time to make every chapter...believe it or not, especially with Kyrsiel!! hehehehe!
