Oh my god... other people on here who know footrot flats... I grew up on that shit. Murray Ball lives a few hours from me... I've always meant to make a pilgrimage!

I hope you do get to visit, some day. Footrot Flats had a huge influence on me growing up - Ball's incredible detail, humour and story-telling are legend.

Growing up I loved Footrot Flats.
of course it was 100% Aussie to me when I read it though ^___^
...until the cartoon movie came out and shattered my illusions! T_T
I forgave it though since it had that fan-bloody-tastic theme song by Dave Dobbin!!!!!!!
