Comic artist Alex Toth passed away this Memorial Day weekend at age
88. He started working for DC comics in the 1950s where he worked on
such comics as Atom and Green Lantern. He later went on to work for
Hanna-Barbera during the 60s and 70s where he designed characters for
shows like Space Ghost, Birdman, Johnny Quest, and several original

I sorta hate to admit it, it's embarassing, but I sent him a card I drew, wrote on the inside that he was inspiring, and signed it.
That's cool ^_^
I liked the original versions of those shows.

Toth had more art in his little fingnail than most of us will ever have in our lifetimes. He was a consumate professional and a pioneer of comics and animation. He will be missed.
