Amanda, a perfectly nice girl and fan of my comic, has been mistakenly reported. I was up all night drawing and being the silly fool I am I accidentally clicked report bad comment. I hereby withdraw this complaint!

The problem was that the "Report Bad Comment" was broken into 2 lines for the way it is on my comic page, so I saw "comment" and thought it was a direct link to the person's profile to comment.... :P I wonder if that's why other's seem to be having this problem maybe.

It could be but there's nothing much we can do about that unfortunately. :(

I think admins realize when the comments being reported are viable or not.

Nope. We just trash anything that gets reported. People 'report' stuff for a lot of reasons, not always because a comment was bad or abusive. Some people don't like comments that are just votes with no text, some people want comments deleted which guess too closely at plot points, etc. We can go back and un-delete comments though, so even if we don't know at first it was okay and it got tossed, we can bring it back.

Ideally we'd just let you guys delete comments yourselves, but that was never programmed in.

When I go through them, I tend to double check just in case, even if it's just an empty 5.
EbonyHeart's for example was an empty 5 that he didn't mean to report and the last 6 or so that I've recently gone through were ALL accidental reportings.

The trouble is that with the amount of little but important omissions like that, it's pointless to ask a programmer to go through and fix them because there are just so many, so they've no idea where to start.

I reported cda's comment as bad as well. It's my first day I signed up so I guess things like this are bound to happen. Can someone correct this mistake? I'd appreciate it.

what does being reported mean? I remember I accidentally reported a guy who always posted in my comic, I didnt give it that much importance but then I noticed he stopped posting, I though it was just a coincidence

that happened like 2 years ago, so does that mean he can't post in my comic?

If you report a comment and you don't mean it and don't tell us about it, then you should at least post another comment explaining about how it was an accident so that you don't offend the commenter.
That's probably why he stopped posting?

Anyway, reporting a comment doesn't prevent that person form commenting again on your comic.
