Is anyone going to the Alternative Press Expo in San Fransisco Nov. 1-3?

me and a few friends were thinking about going.

I will be there as an exhibitor in the artists alley! Hopefully I'll have some comics printed by then! (wouldn't that be great).

Anyhow, I'd love to meet any other drunk duckers who are going....

I didn't think there was an artists' alley at APE. They just don't quite seem like the type that would make a point of separating artists from everyone else. I've been wrong before though.
But yeah, I've wanted to go to APE for a few years now. I just either don't have the time to do it or don't have the money for a train ticket or a Greyhound to SF. If I ever do make it I don't think I'll table. I've tabled enough times to know that I hate it. Besides I'd have to do at least another two new minicomics for tabling to even be worth while!

Well... I'll have a table there. Not sure if its "artist alley" per se... I'm just in the table exhibitor areas vs the main floor booth areas.

I went way back, probably in the very late 90s (i'm guessing '98ish) when it was still in Santa Clara (and wondercon was still in oakland for that matter). I remember it being pretty cool. I remember Mike Allred was there... jhonen vasquez... some other folx.

I think this year Chris Ware is one of the big names... we'll see....
