An amazing TV show that was canceled, and got through a full season in Canada. I love Clone High, and you should too. Anyone else here know Clone High?

Never heard of it.
However, from the web ....
"Clone High bravely tackles challenging teen issues, such as sleep deprivation, catching ADD from toilet seats, the evils of litter, and having the guy you like not like you back the same way you like him."
"Episode 2. "Episode Two: Election Blu-Galoo"
When Cleopatra learns she can't run for Student Body President due to term limits, she convinces JFK to run as her puppet. But when Abe sees that Cleo has a thing for leaders, he throws his stovepipe hat into the ring. The students of Clone High don't care about real issues, so Abe must resort to extreme marketing. He does so with the help of a corporate sponsor -- "X-Stream Blu," a mysterious new food product to which Gandhi becomes hopelessly addicted. (Marilyn Manson guest stars as himself, a singing nutritionist.)"
WTF?

Clone High was good stuff. The reason it got cancelled was because it was a GENUINELY good show on MTV. They couldn't have THAT...so they cancelled it and replaced it with yet another show about Bam, or dating, or whatever the hell.
But, yeah. It was good stuff. Kennedy being raised by a gay couple ALONE was priceless!

MTV has had an ongoing succession of animated shows, alot of which barely lasted more than about 6 episodes. Alot like 3-South and Undergrads dealt with high-schoolers/college freshmen. One of their more decent ones was Downtown, plus a semi-hip action/comedy called Spygroove. Obviously shows like Celebrity Deathmatch, Beavis & Butt-Head, and its spinoff Daria had more episodes because their ratings were better. MTV 2 tried revamping the former MTV animated glory days with a really crappy "new" version of Celebrity Deathmatch, and some other show about 2 dogs in Hollywood, but aside from Wonder Showzen, not much anything new animation-wise has been as successful for MTV since the old Beavis & Butt-Head days.

Clone High has, thankfully, begun airing again on Teletoon in Canada (2:00 am in the Detour) but it's not as good as having new episodes. I'm just glad they finally started airing the Snowflake Day episode, seeing as how it's the best one and for some reason was never aired in Canada during the show's initial run. Probably because of the gratuitous violence surrounding the number of times Abe horribly injures his mouth.
For those who are unaware, Clone High was a Canadian animated sitcom from about four or five years ago about a high school full of clones of various famous figures. The main characters were Abraham Lincoln, Cleopatra, Gandhi, Joan Of Ark, and John F. Kennedy clones. The humour was more or less a constant string of teen drama clichees, irreverent one-liners, history references, and pop culture references. To put it simply, it was absolutely amazing, and I still think it was ahead of its time.
I heard that it was canceled as a result of people taking offense to the way certain clones were portrayed (namely: Gandhi). I'm not sure how true that is.

I thought Clone High was great, I was also a fan of Undergrads. Lots of great cartoons don't make it. (I recently ordered Galaxy High, speakin' of "Highs" and it was just as fun as I remembered.)

I saw an episode of it once. It was great. Then I missed the next all of the episodes.
Thus I was sad.
