Edit: new page :) switched the hair on the one girl and on the previous page too

-------------------------------
This is a page from a short comic i'm doing, i've got a script this time so i'm pretty sure i'll finish it :) I tried a different approach making this page, instead of doing the pencils all on one page i drew the panels separately and put them together in photoshop for inking. Ignore panel 4 please i've gotta redraw.

I'm ashamed of how friggin long it took to do this page though -_- mainly from redrawing panels and anal retentive transform tool tweaking :P

omg, skullbie, you are my hero... it looks great. idk why there's a random happy face in the middle of your paragraph though.
you could go pro...

Looks rad! I think the doing separate panels works for ya- it looks well composed. Love that last expression on the bottom panel.

One thing I've noticed- maybe it's intentional- but it seems like the majority of your women have the same hair. -_-

That's sadly unintentional ;-; I'll throw in some straight bangs or updos one of these days by golly. Thank you for pointing that out :)

Some perspective errors on the building's windows (right panel) and the lines on the pathway and road.

But the figure drawing is magnificent. Great foreshortening on the flying girl on the right! :)

------
As to the hair... Actually I notice that girls of the same age, especially those in the same social group tend to have exactly the same hairstyle anyway, virtually. Happens with the boys too. So that's pretty realistic in a way to have them all the same. But variation would look more fun to the viewer. There's always plaits and ponytails... Easy to draw.

Ha. Very true! I'm rememberin' the girls on the college campus- sorority girls and emo girls, particularly... ;)

But there's also short hair, bobs, curly hair, up-dos and ponytails, braids and cornrows... I'm bad with women's hair- I tend to draw it 80's big, or curly big, or goth big, or snaky big... just big. I think it's because mine is. -_- So sometimes I look through those haircut magazines from the supermarket.

I tend to draw guys with long hair (got long hair myself) and reserve baldness for the bad guys.

As for the art... Pretty good, reminds me a little of the artist who draws Invincible :D

Put a new page up there, and yeah i think i tend to draw side bangs since that's what i have and prefer on girls, i'll be more cautious of it in the future though ;)

Thanks for the comments so far :)

Great googly-moogly your lineart is of the gods! I also like your semi-realistic style.

I've learned that the horizontal flip and the transform tool are my bestest friends. And the 'ctrl+z' is my betch.

When designing characters, I often tend to give my females my hair.

i always thought i was a pretty good artist
but i feel like i suck now lol.

but seriously though, i was thinking about doing my
panels like that cause idk if i can fit all the detail
i want in to such a confined space. how does that work
