I could see something like this being a pretty useful tool for programs like Zbrush. For gaming, however, it's expensive, big and bulky, and still doesn't offer the same range of motion as the keyboard and mouse combo. I don't see it taking the PC world by storm.

Oh, I've seen this. I agree, it would make an excellent tool for 3D-related programs.

Hmm, interesting, although I agree it looks a little chunky to play video games with. It might just be a case of getting used to it, though.

The problem is that the controls don't really offer anything above and beyond what conventional controllers already offer, at least not for gaming. CES has seen all sorts of alternative controllers and gaming devices designed for the PC and ALL of them have failed. Hardware manufacturers have tried everything from VR visors to motion sensitive controllers (the PC had them long before the Wii or the PS3) and all of them failed to change how we play games. You can't really convince developers to adopt obscure and expensive controllers unless that controller fits some sort of niche genre (like racing controllers or flight sticks) that could benefit from alternative controls.

Not only is she very cute in that next-door kinda way, she's also the descendant of a vampire hunter! 8D

Ok... that's what I took away from watching that video.

I'd want to try it out myself just to see if it really feels that realistic but dude, the only people that would buy this are people with a bit of extra cash for random gadgets and gizmos aplenty.
