If you read up on gaming news then you are already aware of this, but President Obama recently gave a visit to Poland and met up with the Prime Minister. As customary during these visits, he was showered with gifts, and among those gifts was a copy of the video game The Witcher 2.
So does America have a gaming president then? I used to joke around with my friends about Presidents losing their touch because they've been too worried about their WoW characters.
Who would've thought Obama enjoyed a solid RPG!

"Mr. President, I think it's about time we checked GameFAQs. That was your twentieth run."

"Great shot sir! Got him right in the head! Now just grab those health packs and power crystals and let's be off!"

"Sir, I never thought you'd be the hacking type. Don't worry though, nothing leaves this room to get out into the general public. They said so on the news."

I know this is kind of a bump, but I think that generally when countries give a bunch of gifts to visiting leaders, it's a big sample of their greatest works and whatnot. Obviously, Obama is way too busy to sink the several hours into Witcher that it would take to finish it, not to mention reading books, planting weird trees, and watching movies.
But it is pretty exciting to me that there is a country that considers a video game a legitimate part of their culture (even if it is Poland), and good enough to give the President of the United States. Score for video gaming legitimacy!
