This past Saturday, I attempted (and failed) the 24 hr comic challenge, here in Pittsburgh. We had a cool turn out, with @12 attendees all making comics!
I made it from 9am until 3:30 am, getting 10 pages completed of a new Phineus story! I hope to finish the story this week. I just had to split to get home and see my girls, and be awake to spend time with them and my wife.
We had a pretty great Drunk Duck presence there with 7 of us in attendance!
Now , I usually work fast, but John http://user.drunkduck.com/jmt from Nonstandard assembly smoked me! , by 3:30 a he had 16 pages in the bag! This guys frigging awesome!! You go John!
We also had Scott http://user.drunkduck.com/scottyduke/ , Dan http://user.drunkduck.com/evergreen/ , Brian http://user.drunkduck.com/oachambers/
, Byron http://user.drunkduck.com/ubernite , and Mike and Cheryl http://bastardchimp.livejournal.com/ . Plus a couple of people I really didn't know. Good times, though!
I highly encourage this for every comic creator, especially with a group, the comradery alone is worth the lack of sleep!
Cheers!

So, the objective is just to keep drawing (or whatever) until 24 hours are up?
Updates Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday's (depends).

Oh wow, I couldn't do that.
Well... unless all you have to do is sketch them.

Any style or medium is acceptable, it's just whatever you come up with in 24 hours counts.

My buddy Joe Dunn is trying to get one of these started on his website as well. I've never done one before, and would probably cheat my way through it (cut and paste panels or something) so I could take a break to eat a sandwich or play some video games....
Still, could be a fun time if you do it with a group.
