They're to freakin' fat & old to do a movie now. I could say the same of the last 2 Stallone sequals.

Eunice PBest thing about Bananaman was that it had the voices of the Goodies- Tim Brooke Taylor, Bill Oddie and Graeme Garden. :)

Goodies! Goody, goody yum-yum. ^___^
Ah, Bananaman was so funny.
I know another great 80's cartoon hero! Captain Kremen!
Well, it's from the 70's but I didn't see it till the 80's.
( "Star Trecken" has been added on -_- )
I had a crush on Carla... Like the rest of the characters, she was voiced by Kenny Everett T_T
DANGER MOUSE
Voiced by David Jason (great actor ^^). I liked the mecha designs in it actually, they were pretty clever. The show also spawned Count Duckula.
And then there was the loveable Inspector Gadget. The 80's version was so cool! The re-make sucked all kinds of sewerage...
C.O.P.S. was pretty decent, I liked it when it was on first. It sort of looked a bit anime. It reminds me now of the Men in Black cartoon.
Galaxy Rangers was a very high quality show for the time. Loved it.
The Centurions was ok... I liked it initially, some of the weapon designs were pretty cool and I loved the hero characters. Good male archetypes to look up to. But it was just so obviously commercially toy driven that it badly affected the quality of the show.

Inspector Gadget:
I had a dream. In it, there isn't just 1 Brain, but like 500 Brains, all agents of Penny. They were all standing at attention with Penny overseeing them on a podium. So a Brain is throwing itself in harm's way to save Gadget, and inevitably gets killed. Penny receives word that Brain #1 is KIA, and immediately "Sigh... Brain #2, you're up. Resume the mission!"

I'm surprised no one's mentioned The Greatest American Hero . I thought he was greater than Superman. :)

HELL YES
It all came flooding back to me as soon as I saw that hand.
I was totally addicted with that show! Cartoons don't give us cool monsters anymore =(
Now I just need to find the name of the cartoon that had the elemental monsters.
The toys were really small. I remember a fish guy, the toys had little stickers that you rubbed to see the element.
I recall wood, water, and fire. Someone's bound to remember this show.
Read "The Devon Legacy".

Dcompose was the best, simply for his screechy-gutteral warcry, which I was able to emulate.
As a child, mind you. I don't think I can screech anymore.

Though you tube only had toy commercials. I swore this was a cartoon as well.
Water! Water puts out fire!
Haha that's awesome!

Battle Beasts were featured on Transformer: Headmasters, but they weren't marketed as part of the Transformers line in America.

Looks like a fursuit and a mobile suit were fused together in a teleporter accident.
