We know we love those eighties heroes like Thundercats, He Man, Bionic Six, Voltron, G.I. Joe, Transformers, GoBots, She Ra, Even Silverhawks. We all miss those eighties superhero shows. I think they should comeback for a new generation. So which eighties show tyou really wanna see which would come back?
Legacyhero and i are doing a Kid Intense/Hero Force crosover which will be a blast. Also, we are teaming up for a Kid Intense movie. Tell me what you think of the crossover and the movie we are teaming up.

I'm sick of Hollywood killing my childhood, so I'd prefer if they'd STOP coming back. We've already seen new versions of He-man, Voltron, G.I. Joe and Transformers and they've all been awful, so seriously, it needs to stop.

None of those shows were good, you only think they were because you see them through the rose tinted glasses of nostalgia.

Lies. Transformers was an amazing show. And watching G1 even now, it still is.

I think Thundercats would be a nice comeback since there isn't any ending to the story as far as I know of. I would be interested if Thundercats would continue for an ending.

I'm not interested in seeing remakes, but if they would just have replays of them I wouldn't mind. A two hour block in the early morning? That's fine. I believe Cartoon Network's been doing it for a while now.

They totally needed to do an anime-styled Jem remake.

The Transformers movie was suprisingly entertaining (except for the nerd teenboy parts).

Thundercats would potentially be interesting but there's an equal chance it would stink. sighs

And Ozone, a live (or worse, animated) She-Ra remake would be painful, no matter who played it. lol!

...unless it was Lucy Lawless, maybe. :nervous:

I still don't see what was supposedly so great about the live action Transformers movies. The characters were annoying, any decent special effects were ruined by Michael Bay's obsession with shakey cam, the writing was poor (and in some cases petty racist) and the humor was adolescent. I found myself cringing at how awful the movie was throughout most of it.

Dueeast, I never said anything about brining She-ra back for a re-make. Especially NOT live action! Jebus no :(

I just thought it was good, a real improvement on He-man.
I never liked Lucy lawless that much or any of those amazon New Zealander chicks... wasn't there another one in Alias or Nikita or whatever that was called?
Great, big masculine women... -_-

I agree remaking 80's shows is almost always a bad idea. But like Jalfrd said a re-make of Jem could be really cool. Only this time the Mysfits should be an evil candy pop group, and Jem and the Holograms should be the super cool hard rock band with substance.

Also BlackStar, Johnny Quest, and Bravestar could be awesome if redone right.
Oh Also a live action Starblasers. that would rock.

Johnny Quest was great as it was and they tried a remake but it didn't pan out too well. I do however like the parody with The Venture Brothers.

I could see a live action Johnny Quest but as any live remake it would fail because too many times those making said movie are so far disconnected from the source material. :(

Parodies are the only acceptable form of remakes.

See: Brady Bunch movie, George of the Jungle Movie, Venture Bros.

NO! Pinky has her hair now... -_-
Well, not really, but the comparisons are annoying.

An anime re-make of Starblazers could be good though ^_^
They continued with the Macross story later... Not that I've seen much of that except a bit of Macross II, which I didn't like, and all of Macross Plus, which was lovely.

Ahahahahaha~!! 80's heroes! 80's villains! There is only one way to do them justice.

Bionic 6: Oh man... I cringe listening to that intro... It's like a YMCA + Brady Bunch song. You want to bring that back? But the animation quality is top notch, though. Offhand I can't think of many shows that match B6's animation.

MASK: AFAIC, there is only 1 good timeless thing out of that show. But it is a very good thing.

I remembered MASK after seeing that.

Don't remember Bionic 6 but it looks really cool ^^

I miss Dino Riders,

Dinosaucers,

and Jayce and the wheeled warriors as well.

I still have all the Jayce toys =D

I also really liked the Johnny Quest remake.

Read "The Devon Legacy".

Same thing with live action heroes. Knight Rider for instance. The 2008 version was horrible. The mustang looked kinda cool, but it's not slick like the original. And Val Kilmer? Really? Sheesh.

And the new Bionic Woman sucks too.

Then I must also be the one not crazy about the new Battlestar Galactica - I don't care if they did add the old Apollo. Why do the Cylons have to be...you know...HOT!

I hate hate hate the new BSG. I rarely watch it.

I want the red-eyed gleaming harmonic Cylons of my toddlerhood. NOT FEMBOTS. It doesn't help that I don't like any of the fembots. Especially the Asian fembot I wanted her to DIE since the 1st time I laid eyes on her. I despise that character, and the men who support her continued existence.

The only character I like is that blonde female pilot whats-her-name. She's so friggin' self-destructive she's cool.

Edit: I don't hate the "real" Asian woman character, though. Is she still alive somewhere, or is the fembot version all that's left of her?

In case there are people out there who want to watch the series, but haven't:

There never was a "real" version of her. She was a Cylon from the start.
