The Happenstance Tales of the Greek God of Fire and Smithery
(a retelling of Greek mythology, with more than likely deviation from the original myths)
While other gods on Mt. Olympus are known to be beautiful and laid back, Hephaestus is more humble in appearance and works his hands to the bone. However, that is not to say that the god of crafting and fire doesn't have any interesting tales about himself...
CURRENT CHAPTER
6) Origins: Part 3:
Our tale of tragedy comes full circle as we learn of the final fate of young Hephaestus, leading to a fateful encounter between him years later with a certain Queen of the Nereids...

Hephaestus takes a rare break and discovers that he is indeed appreciated for his work...
2)Origins: Part 1
A young Hephaestus lives a life in bliss with the lovely Thetis, queen of the sea nymphs. However, this lifestyle would soon come to an end by a meeting with the Queen of the Gods...
3)Passive Affection
Hephaestus, some time after Chapter 1, visits Daedalus yet again to learn that the young Athenian has love problems. However, it's not just any love problems as Hephaestus now has to confront his wife's meddling for the sake of his friend...
4) Origins Part 2:
With the wrath of Zeus and the Olympians upon him, Hephaestus must stand his ground as he fights to remain with Thetis. However, this can only end in tragedy as his destiny to become an Olympian himself will ensure that he will fail to remain with her...
5) Hermes' First Flight
Hermes, the last of the Olympian twelve to join, starts his tale as a meek child with weak ankles, unable to live up to the "God of Messengers" name we know him for. It would take the guidance of a certain smith god to change all that soon enough...

Bump for great justice!
Chapter 2 has been long finished, but I'm unfortunately on a short hiatus as I have computer problems as of late.
Hopefully, by the next bump I'll be on Chapter 3. :D

Bump though not without fail...
I was forced into a month long hiatus since the last update due to real life issues and business. However, now that summer's started I hope to break that and get to updating soon. :D
