I dont think he's going for a Sin City feel. The style I believe he's going for is "Noir".

No, it's that it's just Sin City-ish, not just noir. Noir doesn't have to look exactly like Sin City, though it did seem to redefine the requisite look. If you've read Detective Fork, that's noir-styled, and doesn't look like Sin City.

Looks like Sin City with silverware. Something different. 8)
