I've tried and it wont go away.

Look in the "files" section of your comic control panel and delete the file called "comic_title.jpg". :)

Ive noticed that sometimes it takes a few days for something like that to update. I guess thats a glitch... For instance the last time I updated my avatar it didnt actually change until the next day.

it does take awhile for it to update. my guess is because the image is associated with a script that some processing on the server side needs to happen for it to update.
