Arena:

World's Largest and Hottest Roof

It's a roof, on a house, at the hottest part of the day, on a really hot day, and it's black shingles. Will the slantiness of the roof be your downfall? How much will the roof melt your shoes? Are you going to succumb to heatstroke or 3rd degree burns before finishing your battle? There's only one way to find out.

Musical Theme:

Ragtime and Silent Film

Arena Rules:

-Guardrails are at the edge of the roof to prevent instant death.

Standard Rules (new rules in bold. Please read):

- No one-shot-kills.
- Remember to respect your opponent's pages (that means no rewriting history).
- 7 days from NOW to get your intro pages in.
- Your opponent should not be any (major) part of your intro pages.
- 7 days to post each turn, timed from the posting of the previous turn.
- MAX of 2 pages per turn, apart from the first intro.
- Each contestant is able to miss one deadline. If the deadline is missed without providing a reasonable turnaround time, your character will be replaced with a "happy clone" until your next turn. Upon a second violation, you will be disqualified.
- If a character violates an arena rule or a standard rule, the fight will be interrupted until the violation is corrected by either an "Eye of Isis" or a "Lawyerbird" depending on the type of violation. Repeated offenses will result in disqualification.

The Ames Owl will start this off.

thank you. And mr morton knows how to put a piano anywhere. he put the first piano in space and he even opt for roads to be replaced by those gaint piano boards that you can operate with your feet.

EDIT: I made the words bigger and the background of the text darker for more contrast. I can't just use black text as it will ruin the silent film effect. =^_^=

The words could be a BIT bigger, since I had to get close to my screen to read, but everything else is fine and dandy. I like this silent film jazz. Good pages here.

Also, I can't quite place it, but that saguaro looks familiar.

Super cute, Nako, and I really like the stage idea...but it's REALLY hard to read. Maybe if you used a black font instead? Bigger is always welcome though!

Hm, I guess I have to put up better images then. I shouldn't have reduced them too much... I actually didn't want them too big (they're like what, 8.5x11 inches?!)

I'll try to make them bigger, but if I end up having the same problem as crocty, then you'll just have to bear with it for a while. I was so stupid, I deleted the original large pics just to save disk space. I should have saved them in case this happened...
