I understand the vast majority of these forums isn't comprised of what you would call intelligent or sane people. Instead it's a madworld filled with reptloids and loons who can't use simple things like spoiler tags. Would it hurt if we - say - embed the spoiler tag button into the top row like we do for images and links?

Lets say there is a thread for Star Wars. If I enter this thread, I should already know quite a bit about Star Wars. Shocking twists like doesn't need to be shielded from my pretty blue eyes.

Now lets say there is a thread for awesome movie endings. Well yes, I would like to discuss some endings, but maybe I don't want other endings ruined for me. And in the chaos of posting multiple replies to multiple topics in one subject, chances are I'm bound to have something spoiled. In this case, it would be nice for someone to take two fucking seconds to wrap a spoiler tag.

But I guess that is too much. I promise you if a button were made for it, people would have no problems spoil-protecting things. I get that this site is a barren wasteland in terms of tech staff, but would it really kill the fine folks at platinum to get some intern to spend the three minutes it would take to put the fucking tag button in the top fucking bar so I can stop fucking reading the fucking spilevajlgk asdf

I'm all for this idea. Me, I've taken to not reading many threads because they abound with spoilers free of their tags. When something big is spoiled for me, I usually refuse to watch/play/read/whatever it because where's the fun in it anymore? I try to block it out, but it doesn't usually work and I silently rage at the people who made me lose out on something neat.

So either do this, or the rest of you people need to stop being lazy assholes and realize that not everybody wants shit spoiled.

I think if they can't embed it into the top bar (which again any asshat who got at least a C in programming can do, holy christ) then it needs to be made some kind of offense. It's getting out of hand.
