QUOTE: NBC has cancelled the Jason Lee comedy about karma correction after four seasons. The show is currently being shopped to other networks and may end up on FOX.
I love this show. I hope some other network picks it up. What a shame.
Does anyone else think it was like a clever white trash version of Quantum Leap? :P

"To a rational mind, nothing is inexplicable. Only unexplained."
You know, I never thought of comparing it to Quantum Leap, but that really is an apt and fun comparison.
I'm really sad about the cancellation. I know that lately it wasn't quite as good as its first season, but I was still enjoying it and it still had plenty of potential. I really did hope to see Earl finish his list, and it would be nice to have one more season for it to happen.
Honestly, My Name is Earl hits kind of close to home. The people in that show are like my neighbors, friends, and even family as I grew up. Maybe that's a bit telling of my living conditions as a child, but hey, we all come from somewhere.
I'm glad it's ended now. It does suck that there's no closure, but it's best to end a series before it starts to get shit, and Earl was already on the way there.
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.
I kinda hope they'll at least do like a TV movie to sort of wrap things up. I'm not expecting anything big budget, but a little closure on some of the cliffhangers would be nice.
i could see another network picking it up. i hope one does, i just started watching it again. like PP [snicker] i dont watch alot of tv, but i really like watching Earl. i guess if it does go, that's just more tv i wont be watching.
IIRC the cancelation of My Name is Earl came out months ago. In fact it shouldn't be shocking considering it's incredibly low ratings, and lackluster episodes during the more recent seasons.
