Ugh. I should search out copies in case In run out of toilet paper. So apparently Russians are worse than Nazis? Typical fascist rightwing Christian shiz. -_-
oh,this is an old anti-nazi propaganda comic. in and after WWII, this kind of overt aggrandizing was common and you saw it in other US comics too. the japanese ones were something else.
Wait, I'm confused... She pointed out everything wrong with America, even comparing us to NAZI GERMANY and she still says "This must be a great country!"
Either point out all the nation's flaws, or pretend it's absolutely perfect. I don't care which one, but don't do both!
I think this scene is the best, personally. I mean, I love how she actually seems to cower in fear at bible!

"Orin J Master" Said: oh,this is an old anti-nazi propaganda comic.
No it's not
It doesn't have much at all to do with those comics, it just sort of looks the same. The purpose of this comic it to talk about Christian values. That's all. The Nazi's in that comic were only bad because apparently they weren't Christian. That was the only reason they were bad, nothing to do with invasion and jew killing, according to the comic.

Exactly.
The message of the comic is that as long as you have Christian values, that's what's important.
The comic is basically extreme, EXTREME rightwing stuff. In theme it IS pro Nazi. It's about as bad as you can possibly get and still stay child friendly and fly right under the radar.

Welcome the the fabulous world of paranoid rightwing Christian America during the cold war. THAT is what this comic embodies. ^___^
This is the rotten, evil scary side of Christianity. Not the nice friendly side. It's the kind of fanatic misguided crap that spawns people like Phillip Garrido.
Wow, that was really something. XD It reminded me of nothing so much as Jack Chick's crazy-ass tracts. (Dark Pascual, he's the guy who wrote the D&D = EVIL comic, though I think someone else drew it.)
Was I just reading it wrong, or did Hansi seem to keep switching without warning from Christian to Bible-hating to Christian to "Jesus was an impostor!" to super extra Christian?

THanks for the Info, I couldn't remember the name and it was driving me crazy!!!
I remember seeing the cover posted as a gag on a lot of places, but someone always felt the need to comment that it was actually an anti-nazi book that just picked a very odd image to represent the cover.
Of course, now that I read it I know it's an anti-Russian story, and at worst is neutral on Nazis.
Ugh! That made me feel sick. America this, America that, America is so bloody great! Be a christian, lord all mighty, life and love is meaningless without God.
This sort of mentality is what gets people annoyed with America. Humans are humans everywhere, doesn't matter about nationality. Russians and Americans are as bad as each other in some degrees and the soldiers and people would probably act about the same on average.

In all fairness, it did mention that killing jews is bad, even if the only reasoning given for this is that Jesus was a jew.
