I'm seriously considering starting a comic about a shoujo manga that I've been writing in my head, which involves a girl who wants to be a monster hunter, and a guy who is a womanizer(named him Anthony 'Sampler' Whitman). Anyway, does anyone know where I could the kind of screen tones for something like a shoujo story? I'll need the standard pointillist bubble background thing, but I'll also need one or two that display shock or surprise. Thanks in advance for any help.

Try searching on deviant art. I know they have lots of resource packs that you can download.
If the image is a JPEG and you need a gimp pattern, you can just save the image as a pattern type (I forget what that is at the moment) and put it in the pattern directory.
