Okay, I just logged in on a whim today. I saw I had a PQ and went to check it, whereupon I got the 'You must be logged in to do that page.' So, logged in AGAIN, checked the PQ, went to the comic of a user that PQed me (Xolta) and after visiting about three pages of comics got this:

Tried to get to the forums, got another two 'you must be logged in to do that' messages.

Is DD actually TRYING to drive me away? Is this a bad breakup thing? Am I the only one having these issues? It really seems to be more of a code glitch than a server malfunction (she said, as though she knew anything about servers.) Any help?

EDIT: Okay, after being logged out several more times while trying to sent a PQ, I tried to visit my own profile and got this message at the top of the page:

And under the banner it said: This user does not exist.

It looks like more database issues, I've been logged out at least a half dozen times today. This problem was also reported in the "Wierd errors" thread recently.

Those errors are what comes up when the website can't access the database which drives it. The site was having some problems with that earlier today.

The people at platinum know that something's going on (whatever it might be) and say it will be fixed as soon as possible, the same with the server time issue- the server thinks it's -11 GMT, so the site is also 4 or 5 hours "behind" usual.

That might also explain the database outage I experienced here at 2pm my time - it might have been the nightly server maintenance which usually happens early in the morning so no one notices any offline time. What the server thought was 3am was really 7 or 8. 'course that doesn't explain why it still wasn't working reliably for a little while after. :]
