Comments I've seen about this sort of thing before "As if, you just took photos of your own house didn't you!"

Nope, these are 1:12 scale miniatures. There are godzilla houses, used cat litter trays, lingerie, Hobbits, ikea obsessed houses, the Addams Family, fairies, fish and chips, Susan Boyle, houses the height of a matchstick, pubs, urine filled chamberpots, and cabbages with teeth. All scale miniatures- these are not your normal dollhouses. Plus, absolutely beautifully detailed scenes!

Make sure you look back a few pages, this stuff is awesome. Better than tilt shift anyday.

When you see the whites of an inch high figure's eyes then that's detail. Or how about a 1/350th scale ship (about 30" long) like this:

Fixed your link. You can't have any spaces around the address, or the tags on a different line- which makes it have a space.

Magnificent warship models!!!! I loved the battleships best. So majestic. ^__^

Some guy posted these pictures. Each figure is one inch tall.

Those of us who do miniatures crossover a lot. The train guys hang with the plastic modelers who often build doll houses for their kids. We all use similar (even identical) skills and do not consider our hobbies different. It's all just a matter of scale.

In the hobby shop the doll house stuff is only two aisles over from the train stuff which is right next to the Warhammer stuff which is an aisle away from the airplane models. Miniaturists will usually wander through all the aisles looking for stuff that crosses over.

I rarely if ever see artists walking over to the miniature aisles.

Yeah, it's all pretty much exactly the same thing. All the skills are transferable and someone doing one thing will often find themselves transferring their interest to the other fields.

Awesome work Bravo!

Yeah I 'steal' stuff from train sets for miniatures.

I do however see them as very different talents.

I've had a go at making that sort of stuff, I'm no where near that good through. Made these a few years back out of Polymer Clay. Try to look past the crappy photography.

Wow - they look just like real, normal size matchsticks.

I think that looks like a good effort! Do you have a dollhouse?
