The Pandora Project started a bit more than a year ago as a bigger project with the aim to gather several artists and colourers to create a graphic novel. Some preparations were made, and then...

real life happened.

With both the original creators quit, I took over the writing, organisation and responsibility.

It's the story of the quest of a jester/magician with a split personality, a tomboyish girl and a thief cursed to speak in alliterations of “p” to confront the evil ruler of a futuristic world with baroque and gothic architecture, hoverbikes and hovercars who doesn't let her subjects assume responsibility for themselves. Now the question: would YOU like to join us? Like said in the title, we need artists (and perhaps colourers, but of them we have some).

Actual drawing will begin soon, after some fine sanding of the completed and completely translated script.

If participating, you wouldn't get set simply the script tossed over with my remark “There. Now draw.”, but would have a say in the creative process.

thanks for the interest. I took a look at your stuff, in my opinion your sample pages and your comics are kinda messy and don't really appeal to me, but I also took a look at your dA, and the colouring style you used in some recent works (Bad Dream, Something wicked, Selene) are cool and would be fitting.
However, as long as we don't find more people to actually produce the lineart, I can't actually ofer you to do anything... but I'll get back to you in case things change, would hat be okay?

sounds interesting. visually it could be really cool if done right. i will try and upload some current work in the next couple of days. what sort of pg rate are you looking for? do you have the whole story scripted? if you do how many pages total for the whole story?

Why yes, I hope it will be visually cool. We have a lot of reference material in the project forum. I'm curious to see your current work.
The PG rate would be PG-13, I think. The whole story is scripted, yes, but written in German (20.600 words). 3 of the 8 chapters are translated so far. I can't say how many pages, because most of the time, the script is not broken down to panels and pages. It's up to the artists to translate the script to pages. But I'd say, as few pages as possible.

pretty cool. I understand know why you asked for hi-res ref pics, to get some details necessary for your style.
So you said you'd like to do some splash-page art. If you did some of the eight chapter covers, would that be okay?

The script is completely translated, and we have enough people for covers and colouring. We now only need more people who can contribute lineart on a regular basis.
