I just watched that movie yesterday, and it was such a lovely movie!
Have you also seen it and what did you think about it? And do you know any similar kind of movie that you would recommend? :D

IT is my favorite Park Chan-Wook movie. You should see his other films. Also other good Korean films are.
Attack the Gas Station
Memories of a Murder
and
Crying Fist.

Oh, it's actually good? I liked all the Vengeance trilogy a lot so I've been meaning to see this.

I saw that movie about a year ago; they did a free screening of it at the Smithsonian. I loved it! it was funny, cute, VERY well-directed artistically... (I do remember that it was too long, though.) I don't like Rain's music personally, but he did a good job in that movie!!

Korean films rule!

I REALLY loved Oldboy, and I loved Sympathy for Ms. Vengeance, and I was okay with Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance.

But The Host is by a diff. director. That's one of my favorite movies of all time. The lead actor is fantastic.

That movie, though... it just made me cry, cry, cry so much. One time at Blockbuster I was talking to my friend, and I was like, "oh, they have the host! this movie is...really... good..." and then I started crying!!! D: I'm sensitive. hehe.

I also saw the lead actor from The Host, Kang-ho Song, in another movie a while back. It was called "The Show Must Go On" (weird title, I know); it was playing as part of a foreign film fest in DC. It made a big impression on me; it's part mob caper, part unsettling portrait of a dysfunctional family.
