I'm doing some tedious volunteering and work experience, and I'll be there almost every day and almost all day.

If I had the money to buy a plane ticket to your neck of the woods I would. But sadly the recession took my pocket flying money.

I'm not going this year, but my sister got a job selling showbags. She get in there every day for free, even if she's not working on that day, so she's been able to hang out with her friends there for less cost.

Oh really? That's interesting. I don't think I ever saw a male showbag seller either, now that I think about it.
