I really hate waiting for games to get translated English. And sometimes really good games don't get released in the western world at all! What's worst is that most consoles aren't region free so importing can be very expensive. D:
So, DD are there any foreign games out there that you just can't wait to get, or wish they would release in your country?
Apparently they won't be releasing a new Fatal Frame game for the Wii in America (or so I've read), and while I wasn't dying for it, it's still a darn shame.
There is such a thing? *gasp* Oh well. It would probably have made me cry....again >_<
A PlayStation 2 Cowboy Bebop video game was released in Japan, and the English version had been set for release in North America during the first quarter of 2006. However, as of November 2007, GameSpot reports that the North American release has been canceled.
I don't think there are any games out there that I CAN'T have. Anything is attainable if you want it bad enough and know where to look.
I think we're all well aware of that fact. But for some the cost and trouble is just beyond reasonable means.
Anyway: Metal Wolf Chaos. It's a Japanese game for the original Xbox where you play as the president of the United States of America, piloting a giant mech in order to reclaim the country after the vice president takes it from him in a coup. You get a Shark Gun at one point in the game, and yes, that's exactly what it sounds like.

A rip off of the one from Armed and Dangerous?
A friend of mine actually has Metal Wolf. It. . . really is as insane as it looks.
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.
I like a bit of anime and Japanese culture too, but I never got what the gigantic facination was. Like I cannot imagine being a weeaboo (or whatever the fuck it is?)
Really I guess there was maybe one game I wanted, but it was a hentai game and I was like 16 so I was just happy to get my hands on any type of porn. Still cant comprehend people yearning for a japanese RPG or whatever that is (in all reality) the same as every other JRPG.
The Mother series?
That's everywhere I think everyone has played it. XD

It was probably horrible anyway. At least that's what I'm going to tell myself.
Being a big Puroresu (Japanese Pro-Wrestling) fan, I've always wanted to play the Wrestle Kingdom series. Is pretty much the Smackdown! vs Raw engine, but is less arcade than the WWE games...
MacSoft made a Mac version of Halo a while back, but I guess it's not in production anymore...or something... I've looked up copies of it on eBay, and they're all going for $50+, which I can't afford. T_T I can't put into words how saddening this is for me. I don't have an Xbox and probably won't have one for a very long time.
Dragon Force I was soooo good, both dialogue and gameplay wise. And I've never played anything of its mixed-genre ever since. DF2 was never translated to English, so there was no point for me to ever get it.
FIGHT current chapter: Mother's Den
FIGHT_2 current chapter: Prime Directive

Oh god I am going to cry so much. ):
Also I'm happy to say that the only games I want but can't have are a few RPG's for the 360. The PS3 apparently isn't region locked, so if a PS3 game isn't released in America I can just import it and learn japanese. :p
In my day, video games gave you three chances to kill about 2000 enemies in one sitting with no pause button. Easy mode meant you got two more lives to throw away on the first boss. You don't know the meaning of hard.
