So I'm going to make a comic website and I wanted to know if anybody was interested in becoming a feature, this will be like the comic website snafu-comics.com where we will update the website with 1 comic a day (so if we get 7 comics, that's 1 comic a day)

requirements:
-Commitment to updating (since you'll have to update at least once a week and I don't want anybody to join up and only update once a month)

-Effort (I want to see sweat and tears out of every page you draw)

and Finally

-Comic (yes...you would need a comic for this, doesn't matter what genre of comic, as long as it's good, you put alot of effort into it, and you can commit to it


Now, I would like to have 7 comics for this website so we can update once a day, but I can work with having more than that

and the website shall be called "Maple Syrup Comics" since I'm Canadian

Well, you know I'm in with Semi-Fatal, which you write.

I'm a bit interested.
Pancakes is my main comic, so I would contribute that. I would make more of an effort to put my comics out weekly, which I basically already do. So, if you want me, that could work.
Do you have a url booked, or anything done?

URL booked, building HTML is my job, so we need an idea of what we want it to look like. flip won't tell me the url though. it'll take about a month before we can actually use it.

I would be interested in putting BffSatan there, or updating Busalonium more often.

I may be interested. I already work on a comic, but I haven't created stable characters (I don't have characters who make frequent appearances, just random ones) if that makes a difference to you. I update daily, and try to.

Well, that's okay, we only need one a week, But if you want t update daily you can.

And your comic doesn't need a set list of characters, we're not saying "no" to anything.

I think I'll go with Busalonium, for a whole load of reasons it makes sense. If you think otherwise then I can work with that.

Also I love the site name, not because I'm Canadian, but I love maple syrup.

We only have 3. We need at least 4 more! Of course once we reach 7 we can always have more people contributing.

The idea behind this website is fantastic, I just don't know if you would want my old Paint Heroes pages though;(and besides I've already started working on uploading them on other comic-sites such as Comic Fury & Smack Jeeves).

If needed, I'd be willing to create some new material which would easily fit in my "Jules Comics Promo Comic" project.

does it require alot of effort outside the comic on my part? like coding and or my own website or updating it through coding?

Cause I'm willing to lend my comic but I'm really not willing to go through any of that hassle. I could design it but I wouldnt be able to acctually create it, I have before but I'm really bad at it. So yeah my comic I can throw into the ring my services otherwise are rather bleak.

That's fin, there will be a couple people able to do that for you, me being one of them. just give me want you want it to look like and I'll see what i can do.

hows the updating done then? would I have to throw them up with code or would I email them or would there be some sort of System, also if I'm in I'd like to get thursdays to be consistant with the drunkduck updates and various other mirrors

Hey, sounds like a raring idea. Despite how I don't think I could contribute (with a NSFW comic in the rough) I'd still love to see you guys make this thing work.

Well, I've decided to remake my comic so it's "M" rated now. Don't worry, this choice wasn't something brought on by you Flapjack1995, it's something I've been thinking about for a long while now.

I'm not posting here again because I wish to beg for a space on your site, no no. I'll work on my new comic, and when it's up, you might accidentally stumble upon it, and maybe you'll like it, and maybe you might want it on your site. If not, no loss to us at all. :D

Comics continuum, you guys!

Well everything is going smoothly so far, got the url and site registered...now we just have to make it...*coughs at Flapjack* I've decided on a few comics already and will announce them when the site is almost done, but I'm still looking for more comics *pokes Derkomai*

Hey, you haven't even drawn a site design yet. I'm not creative, i just have the techniques!

Just gimme the page and the blog entry or whatever, along with a date. i'd have it up in five-ten minutes.

If flip_side is unable to make a design then I'll be happy to offer my services on that, one of my year 11/12 elective subjects at school is web design and last year I got an A in it. Otherwise if Flip_side is able to make a design then just ignore my post.

sounds good just tell me when you need my photoshop rendering of what I want my design to look like and I'll have it sent and such.

That is a nice design, I was thinking, would there be one page that shows the most recent comic regardless of whos comic it is? Since there is one update per day I think this would make things easier for readers.
