Ironically this may have already been asked for but since one doesn't exist I could't tell. Basically I wanted to search through the tips forum to see if a topic was already there (and avoid annoying people with a double post) but couldn't search. The only search function I could find was to search through the comics.

Does such a function already exist and I've just shot right past it, or is there a way one could be implemented into the forum?

Actually it's already in the big list of suggestions but admittedly, that list is pretty dang long and it's easy to miss things. Occasionally 'how do I search the forums?' comes up in the help forum.

There's no built-in search feature unfortunately (and given plat's history of neglect for upgrades and improvements, probably won't be), but there is a way to do it through google!

Your search should look like this:

site:www.drunkduck.com/community "search term"

That will limit google to the forums. You can also set that up if you go to google's 'advanced search' page, but it's easier to just remember the site: part.

It would be so easy for someone who can code to just add that as a button or something on the forums page... but no one here can do it. :[
