Hey all -- I haven't posted here before, so I'll plug all my webcomics while I'm here.
First up, Wayward Son, a superhero/sci-fi action/adventure comic;
Jacob Sinclaire, codename Raptor, is a Black Ops super-soldier who escapes the military to avenge a murder. Once free, he uses his superhuman abilities and special weapons to find the killers, while at war with his father's criminal empire, and hunted by the commander of his former unit.
Up on DD is a teaser of the series, and some original art. The full series will debut in print early this (2009) year, though I'll probably put a teaser of the first issue up in due time. Check this teaser out -- it'll give you an idea of the flavor of it. -- Click to view the Wayward Son online teaser
Next up, my new webcomic-only series The League of Defenders -- on the surface, a typical superhero team comic;
There are superhumans in the world, heroes with abilities beyond those of mortal men. The best and brightest live in Great Bay city, and have formed an unstoppable team -- The League of Defenders. Together, these champions of justice defend the world against the terrible forces of The Claw of the Abyss.
Right now, the cover for the first issue is up (issue #253). I'll start bi-weekly updates by the end of January. Click here to view!
Finally, not an original idea, but a thank you to those who have been checking out my webcomics thus far -- Batman: The Serpent Sea, a Batman fan/tribute comic. These are actually pages I drew two years ago, but this is the first time I've colored and lettered them. The pages were originally created as a submission to DC Comics -- unfortunately, I never had time to follow through on them. But, you can enjoy that story here instead. I'll try to update this story every weekend until the story is done (about seven or so pages). I'll even throw in some Batman pinups for fun. Click here to view!
That's all for now -- stop by and check out what I've got. Thanks!
Unfortunately, due to my hectic schedule (ie -- paying projects and commissions that take priority) and the fact that it needs a bit of rewriting, The League of Defenders is on indefinite hold.
A bit of good news, however -- the first full issue of Wayward Son will be available in print sometime in March. More details on how you can pick up a copy as the time nears. Leading up to the print comic's release, I'll post a ten page teaser here on DD.
Fan/tribute comic Batman: The Serpent Sea is still chugging along just fine.
