Whats going on, there is white stuff falling from the sky. Its rare enough to see rain in Las Vegas, and it's snowing in the Summerlin area. I'm watching it right now and thinking this cannot possibly be good for my palm trees. Dont worry though anybody from back east would laugh at this slushy powder in my backyard.

The snow has subsided today, but its still below 40 degrees. I suppose I will not be wearing a tank top and shorts to our Christmas morning this year, its much colder than I am used to. So please send warm puffy clothes jackets, thermal undies, mittens, tasteful wool caps, a nice scarf to match. I'll settle for parachute pants if you have them!
