'S pretty damn awesome actually. I was a bit apprehensive at first since they went back to the WW2 setting, but after playing it and seeing how the gameplay is just like CoD4 but with more weapons and perks and such, I really like it.
I don't want to play any more WW2 games. And something about me doesn't want to fight Japanese people in a game. I don't know why it's so much easier to fight Nazis.
I'll wait until next year when Infinity Ward releases the REAL sequel to Call of Duty4 which presumably continues the modern warfare theme. I'm so tired of the WW2 games I'm not even gonna touch this one.
They should do a slightly-in-the-future WWIII game. :D
You know what? I think I'd go for that. I'd want it to be in the nearby future though... not the far off future with space marines. It could have slightly more advanced tanks and aircraft and stuff.
Although getting the chance to shoot the Japanese sounds fun... after watching the videos I really haven't found anything exceptionally new. Night raid, beach landing, tank battle, small-team warfare against might odds, tank battle... we've all seen those before. Co-op and Nazi Zombies (Along with Meat Clever event) would be the only ones that would make World at War worth paying for.
Semi-future World War III does sound fun (Battle 2142?), but I'd like to see some steampunk-based FPS. But I can only dream.
"I like shooting, but I sure as hell don't like being shot at."
