Gained a girlfriend/boyfriend? New best friend? That reached beyond the Internet into a real time encounter that has lasted a while?

Nope. I never met anyone from DD in person, but I talk to more guys my age on DD than anywhere else on the internet or in life.

I get cripplingly shy around eligible men my age. I have sort of conned myself into actually conversing with a few of them on DrunkDuck because I initially thought they were either married or women. (Damn you guys and your feminine avatars!) But seriously, it's a good thing. It has given me more confidence in real life to know I can have conversations with guys.

Would I like to? I dunno. There are guys I can actually talk to on here, so maybe. They already know how self-conscious and neurotic I am. We could build on that.

But I probably never will meet any of you. Geography is against it.

Yep, met my live-in girlfriend through Drunkduck. We've been together over a year now.

Oh, I should also mention that I met my college roommate through DrunkDuck, and because of that never had to live in the crappy dorms.

My best internet friend is from Drunk Duck.

I meet all of my friends and lovers here. I have no other outlet of social interaction.

I think my wife would be against me dating anyone from the Duck, but I have made some decent friends here.

I know...It's crazy how we lived in the same house for years, totally unaware of each other, and then realized through DrunkDuck's advanced DNA testing system that we were related.

I'd imagine it would make the getting to know your process a lot easier.

person 1- "I like comics".

I think it's sweet that people can meet over the Internet (especially on DD) and get married. It means that they liked them for their personality before their looks.
