...for making the news updates visible on the main page without having to click a button. This was really the only problem I had with the redesign, and I hope that this means people will read the news more. Hopefully people will get more views for their milestones now ^^;
So whoever was responsible for that, I humbly thank you.
Still wish we could lock the My Favorites and My comics section to stay open as well... but a really nice improvement. It helped me notice that SchoolMunkee misspelled DAJB's name ^_^
All these fixes coming to DD recently are going to spoil us! Love it!
I would like to add an addendum here by saying thank you for making the delete favorites button availible again. I know it was already possible through a system exploit, but the addition of this button makes it a lot easier, so thank you.
OMG. Thank you thank you thank you, for the recent fixes to the favorites prefs and the newsposts. I accidentally turned on the "email update" to a fav. comic (which updates every friggin' day) a year ago, and it wouldn't let me switch it OFF. Got sick of deleting that email everyday.
We are keeping our fingers crossed that things continue to happen They've asked us to tell them a few things we'd most like done, so if they decide those are doable, hopefully we will see a few more functional features and some other minor (but much suggested) changes.
I think the most recent news post should be visible, without having to click on it, but other than that this is a good step forward!
I'm not sure that would be very realistic. The space it would have to fit in is very small, and sometimes the newsposts get pretty long. Plus, once you'd read it, you'd want it to go away, so they'd have to build in something where someone could click and make it go away. Having it visible is really only useful once.
nonsense, skoolmunkee... of course it's realistic!
i love tiny print. and i often pray it would never leave.
...i basically posted this because i got that whole "nonsense, watson!" voice in my head after reading the last post for some reason....
.....
sorry about that. avoiding silly impulses has never been my strong suit.
you know why birds don't write their memoirs? because birds don't lead epic lives, that's why. who'd want to read what a bird does? nobody. that's who.
