Since around 7/12/08, I'm seeing porn ads popping up on DD pages.
Anyone else notice this?

Yep, we're aware of the inappropriate ads... trying to sort it out

People have been getting quite angry about this over in Ideas and Suggestions.

An update for the users:

We're in discussions about the ad management on the site. The adult ads that came on, shouldn't have. Those things apparently slipped through the net down the line- a third party advertiser doing the wrong thing.
We're trying to work out a way for this stuff to get caught a lot faster or not to happen at all.

I'm not sure I would call 3 recent posts (in a 2 month old thread) 'people', and none of them seemed angry, just a bit annoyed and puzzled We'd posted in the thread so you didn't really need to tell us about it here.

If we are lucky, not many people are seeing these (it's probably region-based like the rest of the ads, or people are blocking ads) and we can get it fixed before we really do get a lot of complaints.

Pfft... like I need ads to show me where the pr0n is. :P

Besides, I use Firefox with Flashblock enabled. I don't see any ads.
