I have been thinking about how I want to tackle my stories for comics and I am going to try an experiment for myself. I want to write comic books or graphic novels like author write their respective books. Basically each of my comics will be a complete story and none will relate to each other. This also allows me to take different approaches to combine text and artwork. For instance the next story I am working on will be an old west/Halloween type story done in a childrens book format. I want text almost like snippets of text with a full color picture per page. So each of my stories will be different in tone and look. I have two other stories after the western style I want to do. What do you guys think of this idea? I am selling my first book on Lulu right now and want to sell all my books on there as complete books to buy and own. I have no Comic company name...just me as the author or creator. Any thoughts on this?

I think your ideas are solid, but I think you're going to need to market this outside of the traditional comic book market, considering your bucking the traditional comic book model. It may take some out of the box marketing, but I think it could do well.
