I have every reason to expect the tutorial I published - titled "Create-a-world" - was removed due to unsuitability and perhaps multiple violations of one sort or another, but it doesn't help me learn when it disappears and I don't get a general PQ about the reasons Why...
I guess I am just unreasonable, but I want a name to send a PQ to in order to get some feedback about the Whys and Wherefores. Can it be said with any certainty who made the tutorial in question *poof*?

That sounds more like a mistake than anything else... I can't believe any of the DD admins would delete a tutorial, especially without telling someone. (Myself, I leave the tutorials alone, the user ratings mean that bad ones go to the bottom anyway.)
I'll ask in the admin forum though, maybe someone will know. I'll PQ you if I find out anything.
Well, turns out I find the DD server backups(or whatever) still had a copy of the full tutorial, so I have been able to republish it. If an Admin did sweep it from the release list, then I suppose it was a silent gesture/warning, to save a long PQ explaining the particulars. Depending on exactly what did happen, I mght expect a PQ this time around if one of the Admins does have serious issues with "my" tutorial...
Thank you for your interest. Perhaps it will be all right now...
Amend: Hmm. I'm thinking now that perhaps that tutorial is a bit long. The system might be chewing on it badly. The previous date was 3/25(when I started building the tutorial) and now it shows 4/07. I think there may be a slight kb size/glitch problem... *signs* I'll be finding out what edits do to the publishing date, I guess. I assume an edit doesn't bump a tutorial up to the top, but I won't be a bit surprised if it does. Nutty...system...
Amend2: Now it's back to 3/25...ARRRGGH! And editing does not seem to bump...

We don't do silent warnings like that, we much prefer to cover our butts by telling the person why we deleted their post/whatever. Deleting a tutorial is a pretty deliberate process we have to do. So far the admins that have gotten back to me have said it wasn't them.
The only things that get deleted intentionally in the tutorials are the spam things - people posting their comic, or just pure junk that isn't a tutorial or anything. We wouldn't delete a genuine tutorial, not even one still in progress.
Unless one of the other admins gets back to me (might be Monday?) and says they did delete it, I'd consider it an accident somehow, or a glitch of the system. Be sure and keep the main working copy on your own computer, it sounds like some kind of server problem to me... sorry this is happening :[ I really doubt anyone is deliberately deleting the tutorial though.
Thank you. I am worrying less and less about it. I do have the working copy and these little things do happen in cyberspace. Good honk! No apology necessary, but thank you for the comiseration...
