Cheerio, Dark10! Welcome to DrunkDuck! I'm Renga Studio! Are you by any chance familiar with Ashita no Nadja?

Hmm, let's see what I'm into...

Beavis and Butthead
Calvin and Hobbes
Cowboy Bebop
Evangelion
Trigun

Whew! I barely made it! I guess that means we're cool, right? I'd amaze you with my weather-controlling prowess right now, but my weather machine's completely waterlogged at the moment; a certain someone thought it was a funny idea throw it overboard while kayaking with friends.

I'm looking at you, amanda.

Renga: How are you everyone !!
Renga: All your weather are control by me.
Renga: I has a weather machine.
DrunkDuck: What you say !!

Oh, hello.

I'm also from England. Which bit are you from?

Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

Hello there, dark10! I'm unfamiliar with most of the things on your list, but then again, I pay so little attention. But...I wrote a paper on Beavis and Butthead's impact on American television when I was in college. I watched the episodes as "homework/research."

Welcome! Hmm, can't say I really care one way or the other about most of the things on your list, but Calvin and Hobbes rocks, and I saw the Evil Dead 1 and loved it. I'm trying to complete my collection of Evil Dead movies, I swear!

Other than that...uh, did I already say welcome? I did. Well there you have it!

A Roll of the Dice now with full-size pages!

John Clyde now with ten times the tacky Hawaiian shirts!

um, lets see....

no, never seen Ashita no Nadja but i dont really watch big eyed typical manga, i really like the cutting edge anime, the artists and writers who push the envelope.
tekkonkinkreet is a perfect example...I did like gundam seed though, that had typical manga designs.

I dont have a cat so you cant sell it, and im from Plymouth in the UK.

I like to think im into things that the masses arn't.Its probably refected in my comic too.Course' that has its disadvantages...
Dammit, arsenal just got knocked outta the champions league, now thats depressing...

but thanks to all those who said hi so far, nice ta meetcha...

Ooh, I loved Evil Dead 2! It was hilarious! I also liked Army of Darkness/Midevil Dead, although I have yet to see the first Evil Dead. (I doubt that I ever will because of a certain *ahem* scene that occurs.)
Also love South Park. Trey and Matt are funny, funny men. Have you seen ' Canibal! The Musical? It's something the two of them made in film school, and it is beyond hilarious.
Loved Tekonkinkreet too, good movie.
Akira confused me, though... TT

And yes, obscure stuff is generally better then the mainstream. I tend to dislike the popular animes, although I don't make a rule of it.

Hate big eyes, huh? Lol, you should try watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. The characters all have huge eyes, semi-chibi character designs, and it starts off as a typical small town harem-type anime plot. That is, untill the MC learns about the serial murders that have been happening every year for the past five years. And then things REALLY stat going downhill. I've never been able to look at chibis the same way since...
