So I keep hearing about unique page views, and I was wondering what exactly they are? And how do they differ from regular page views? I know that they have something to do with ranking or something like that...

Unique page views are counted per person per day. So if one person views your site 10 times today, it'll only count as 1 view from them.

Normal page views is how many times people look at your page. If one person visits your page at 10:30, then again at 12:00 and again at 2:00 on the same day, you'll have a total of 3 pageviews from him/her.
