how about something that tells you when a friend creates a new comic? could be through PQ or an icon next to the the avatar like the PQ button (which would be not only for friends). I thought it might be interesting. I was thinking about an RSS for authors (with all his/her comics) but that seemed complicated. Maybe an icon indicating that the user updated any of his/her comics in the last 7 days?

There is the DD Alerter. As long as the comic is faved, it'll say when it updates...most of the time.

That won't alert you when someone who is in your friends list creates a new comic though, will it? Plus, it's useless for us Mac users.

Sounds cool to me.

Is there a function that can send you a PQ when a favourited comic updates?
Or perhaps a daily list of updated favourites?
Would that help get round the Mac issue?
