I have the Daxter bundle on order (should be here early next week) and was curious what other games are recommended. The main one planning on getting right away is the Disgaea remake.

I like most genres, so any and all suggestions are welcome, except "You should have bought a DS lolzorz!!!11!!1!!", because I already have one.

Castlevania.

Beyond that, there's some other good games out. The Final Fantasies are good remakes if you like RPGs, the FF Tactics game is apparently really tasty... Silent Hill: Origins is good if you like horror... I think there's a Metal Gear Solid game or two out for it, but I haven't played them yet.

What kinda games do you like?

FFT: War of the Lions, Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, either Monster Hunter Freedom, MGS Portable Ops, MGS Portable Ops +, Silent Hill Origins, I can't remember if God of War: Chains of Olympus is out yet, but if it is, GET THAT.

Other than that, just get whatever looks good to you. That's what I do with games, and I've rarely gotten one I didn't like.

I really liked Dead Head Fred, it was extremely well done and fun to play. also, Katamari and Loco Roco are EXCELLENT!

The only reason I bought it was because of John C McGinley. I was pleasantly surprised.

If you are into racing games, Burnout Legends is still the best racer on the PSP.

Since this is a thread about PSP games, it is inevitable that I will pop in to recommend Valkyrie Profile.

GET VALKYRIE PROFILE!

Whatever you do, DO NOT get Valkyrie Profile or Beautiful Katamari.

I'd suggest:

- Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
- Lumines II
- Jeanne D'Arc
- Disgaea (or however you spell it)
- Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology
- Burnout Dominator
- Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
- Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow
- Final Fantasy Tactics
- Silent Hill: Origins(if you can deal with how it plays)

and there are a few more that slip my mind right now.

Know what? I'VE already recommended Disgaea, several OTHER people have recomMended Disgaea, but I'm STILL going to recommend it AGAIN.

You can, actually. The Katamari game for the PsP wasn't all that great. Beautiful ( We <3 )Katamari was a spicy meatball that was watered down into spoiled meat. Well compared to it's predecessors anyway.



Valkyrie was an average game. It was at the top of the bottom. I really didn't feel for the characters or the story. Not to mention the gameplay. It was bland.

But if you like it, then that's what floats your boat Lizard.

Question: Are you talking about Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth for PSP/PS1, or Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria for the PS2?

Because if you're talking about VP2, I agree with you. But VP1 is perhaps one of the best games I've ever played.
