This is something I whipped up in September.

I'm not really familiar with hotlinks ect. so I'm not sure if these images will show.

Yes I can see quite a difference between the two renditions apart from costuming. The hair styling is becoming more natural looking, as does the body and posture in general. That's quite a jump in techniques over a three months timespan!

the more you work at something the better you get at it, its only natural, there wasa time where i dated filed and saved every single thing i sketched out, and even in 3 month periods i could see amazing developements. in the last month ive been working on my upcoming comic, now im not going to say the art has changed since i started, because ive been trying to keep the pages flowing and looking the same, but my skills on photoshop have increased, it usedto take me about 20 hours of work to finish one page fully, but as i got more and more used to the program that time got shorter and shorer, now i can usually pull off a page a day working on my comic for only about 3-5 hours in the evening depending on whats in the page im working on.

the great thing about constant development is that you will always advance.
for me right now im counting on my artwork to get better because the comic im working on right now has a counterpart comic, kind of a 2nd series that follows up on the aftermath of the first comic, but i have really high expectations for the 2nd series so im hoping that by the end of the 1st series my skills will have grown enough to blow away my audience with the 2nd series.

That's really quite an impressive jump over those three months, bravo!

A Ronin writer, a masterless samurai of the written word...

Updating: Main comic: Mondays & Thursdays. Now in glorious Ink Wash and Water Soluble Pencil! Reva's note: This is not created digitally, it's all hand drawn and inked.
