Personally I'm ecstatic. I enjoyed the previous Hellboy and this one looks to be some fun summer superhero. Not much of the plot is discussed either...

Visually it looks great, though I am a little tired of the pale, long white-haired villain. He's feckin' everywhere! Anyway, the trailer looked nice, but I wasn't rightly "excited" about it until the end when Hellboy sees some big monster thing and just says, "Oh, crap..." That's Hellboy. All the sword-fighting and explosions and crap are just fluff.

Also, I found this nifty little thing just now when I was looking up Hellboy 2 stuff:

Also why is emo the new clean cut villian.

Yeah, to be honest I'm looking forward to this even though I've never read any of the comics. I loved the first movie and thought Ron Pearlman did an amazing job as Hellboy. I can only hope the sequel lives up to the promise of the original.
