I'm trying to set a table off to the side of my comment section or my comic page for links, but I can't figure out how to set things off to the side!

I'm not sure you can't do that in a template.
Though i can give you the code i'm using for the custom interface (see link below) just PQ me.

How far off to the side do you want it? And do you want to keep your author comments/reader comments centered? If so, you're going to need to make a table that encompasses your comments and has three table cells, the left (or right) empty space, the middle for your comments, and the right (or left) for links. That way your comments can remain centered and the links can be off to the side.

You just need to set the table and cell widths to correspond with your page layout.

IE: you can set the table width to be 800 so it would fit in most browsers, the empty space and link navigation to 200 and the authors comments to 400, and make sure to center the whole thing.
