After getting sick of not doing anything, I just decided to make a comic staring two characters I created. First, I did 2-page origin stories ala the back ups over in DC's 52 which can be found here and here.
Then I just decided to plop them into a plot I had come up which is basically "Fade-Out gets arrested and Riot has to break her out. I never wrote a script, I just simply started drawing pages and added in dialogue as I went through, finalizing it during the inking process. It's 32 pages and took me about a year to do and I'm proud of myself for actually finishing something for once. It can be found in its entirety here. The first 8 pages or so were done on a small sketch book and I stagnated for a bit before continuing on so theres a noticable jump in quality after that.
In the wake of that, I've decided to finally do a "true origin" and I am currently in the middle of that. I've got 7 pages online here and about 3 pages waiting to be scanned and about 9 more pages penciled and waitingto be inked by yours truely.
So, I guess thats it. Hope people enjoy them, any thoughts would be appreciated muchly.
My major piece of feedback would reflect Priest's comment about the text - try to keep it consistent in size and plan out where it will go, so it doesn't get squished.
Also backgrounds may help you out a bit.

Thanks again you two for the bit of advice, I've been taking them to heart when making new pages (especially when lettering). Hopefully they come out better.
Now, aside from todays update, I made this as an advertisment:
